Landsman Releases First Ad of the Cycle: “Listening”

September 10, 2024

CINCINNATI, OH – Rep. Greg Landsman released his first TV advertisement today in Ohio’s First Congressional District. The ad, titled “Listening,” reminds voters that Landsman pledged to be a new kind of national leader and has kept his promise. The six-figure ad buy signals Landsman's strength and broad support heading into the final weeks of the campaign.

The ad reintroduces Landsman as a reformer, taking on the Washington establishment by refusing to accept corporate PAC money and fighting to ban members of Congress from using their position to get rich. It also highlights Landsman’s deep involvement in the community and commitment to reliable, transparent leadership, noting that he has held more town halls in 20 months than his predecessor did in 20 years.

“Voters want pragmatic, bipartisan leaders who get things done for their communities. They’re done with dangerous rhetoric and hyper-partisan nonsense,” said Congressman Greg Landsman. “While my opponent has said his priority is Donald Trump, my priority is showing up, listening, and working with anyone to make life easier for families here at home.”

Over the coming eight weeks, Landsman will continue to show voters his efforts to make life easier for children and families and his commitment to moving past partisan chaos.

Ad Transcript:

Two years ago, you sent me to Washington.

It's a mess.

Members of Congress are using insider information to get rich trading stocks. That’s crazy.

I don’t take corporate PAC money because I want you to know I'm with you and not billionaires.

I’ve held more town halls than the guy before me did in 20 years…

Because the first job of a Member of Congress is to listen and then act.

I’m Greg Landsman. I approve this message because we’re going to fix this. Together.
