Chabot’s Dangerous Anti-Democratic Actions, Anti-FBI Rhetoric

CINCINNATI — Today, Democratic nominee Greg Landsman’s campaign in OH-01 released the following video statements condemning Chabot’s continued anti-FBI rhetoric:

• Phil Heimlich – Republican, former prosecutor, former Cincinnati City Councilman, former Hamilton County Commissioner:

  • Heimlich: “I am a lifelong Republican, but Greg Landsman and I agree on the importance of law and order and the peaceful transition of power. That’s why I’m supporting the only pro-Democracy candidate in this race: Greg Landsman. I know Greg will always stand with those who put their lives on the line to protect our communities.”

• Scotty Johnson – 33 years with Cincinnati Police Department (retired), former lead crisis negotiator for Cincinnati SWAT, Cincinnati City Councilman:

  • Johnson: “I served with the Cincinnati Police Department for 33 years, 23 of those as the lead crisis negotiator with Cincinnati SWAT. This kind of rhetoric from politicians like President Trump and Rep. Chabot puts people’s lives at risk, as we just saw last week here in Hamilton County. I’m supporting Greg Landsman for Congress because I know he’ll always fight for the safety of our communities.”
